Intex Dinosaur Inflatable Play Center

The Intex Dinosaur Inflatable Play Center is a small inflatable pool that can be filled with water and comes equipped with a waterfall, palm tree, slide and ball throw. During hot days, this makes a great way for little kids to play outside, have fun and stay cool.

Intex Dinosaur Inflatable Play Center Features

•    Adjustable water flow from both the palm tree and waterfall
•    Includes small inflatable balls
•    Drain plug in the floor
•    Repair patch included
•    Ages 2 and above

Worth The Money?

For little kids, yes. Older ones around 6 years old and up most likely will lose interest in it fairly quickly.

For example, the slide is better suited to 18-month to 2-year-old children. Measuring about 98” long, 75” wide (and 43” high at the tallest point, the dinosaur mouth) when inflated, the water depth is approximately ankle deep on an adult. However as with any body of water, small children should not be left unattended when in this pool!

Inflating the Intex Dinosaur Inflatable Play Center is accomplished through a standard pinch type valve – the same found on many inflatable toys. While a bicycle tire pump works, a quicker way is to use an electric inflator pump. like the kind used to inflate an air mattress, or use a standard electric air compressor.

The small balls included with the pool are inflatable too and are thrown into the dinosaur’s mouth for an extra activity.

Spray from the waterfall and palm tree is via a garden hose attached to the hose connector and the spray controlled through a valve. The water spray feature does not have to be used at all if not wanted.

Water can be drained quickly via a drain plug in the floor of the pool. Draining is frequently recommended as the water quickly gets dirty from going down the slide into the pool, getting out and going down the slide again. The slide is not detachable.

While it does come with a repair patch, it is recommended to put it on a smooth surface to reduce the chance of puncture. If used on grass, put a tarp or other thick cloth under it to prevent puncture.

The Bottom Line

During hot weather, this pool is a great way for little kids to cool off and have fun in the process. And during weather too cool to play in the water it can be used indoors as a ball pit with the addition of some more small inflatable or plastic balls.
